Usually answered within a few days. If something is broken, it helps enormously to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the app version (Settings → About, inside the game) and what you were doing when it happened.

Common questions

I bought Remove Ads and the ads came back

Open Settings inside the game and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this works on a new iPhone, after a reinstall, and after a restore from backup — at no extra cost.

If it still doesn't take, make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought it with (iOS Settings → your name → Media & Purchases), then try again. Still stuck? Email us with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.

My scores don't appear on the leaderboard

Scores are submitted through Apple Game Center, which needs you to be signed in. Check iOS Settings → Game Center, and look for your alias in the game's menu footer — if it isn't there, the game has nothing to submit to.

A score set while Game Center was still signing in, or while you were offline, is not queued for a retry — play another run once you are signed in and connected, and it will post.

The daily challenge didn't give me a rank

Only a run that survives the full sixty seconds is ranked. Dying — including dying while clearing the leftovers after the clock runs out — puts you on the local board but not the global one. The card says "Finish the challenge to be ranked" when that happens.

Your best score for today can therefore be higher than the score the leaderboard has, which is expected: the menu tracks attendance, the board tracks finishing.

I can't tell the colours apart

Every colour carries its own shape as well — flame, drop, leaf, star, moon, bolt, diamond — on the orb's face and on its matching cannon segment, so the game is fully playable without relying on hue. The setting is Settings → Colour symbols, and it is on by default. The pairs that are hardest to separate by hue (red/orange and blue/cyan) deliberately get the most different shapes.

The combo readout also warms from white toward gold as your streak builds, and the tones climb a scale as it does, so the streak has cues that are not colour.

Can I make the text bigger, or turn off the flashing?

The game follows your iOS text-size setting (iOS Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size, or Accessibility → Display & Text Size) up to about 1.6× the default, past which the fixed-height cards stop fitting.

Sound, music and haptics each have their own switch in the game's Settings. If Reduce Motion is on in iOS Accessibility, the game's heavier effects are dialled back to match.

Is there an iPad or Mac version?

No. Color Killer is built for iPhone only and needs iOS 17 or later. It will run on an iPad in iPhone compatibility mode, but the layout is designed for a phone held in one hand and that is the only place it is tested.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything the game stores — scores, streaks, settings, progress — lives in the app's own sandbox on your iPhone and goes with it. We hold no copy, because we have no server.

Game Center scores belong to Apple; manage them through Apple's Data and Privacy portal or by removing yourself from the leaderboard in Game Center. The full picture is in the privacy policy.

I want a refund

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us — we never see the payment. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you bought it with. If Apple turns you down and you think that is unfair, write to us and tell us what happened.

I found a bug, or the game is unfair somewhere

Please tell us — balance complaints are as welcome as crashes. Every gameplay number lives in one place in the code and can be changed without touching anything else, so specific feedback ("the fuse at level 27 is unreadable at that speed") is genuinely actionable.

Status

Color Killer is a single-player game with no backend, so there is nothing to be down. If Game Center leaderboards or App Store purchases are misbehaving for everyone at once, check Apple's System Status first.
